The NYPD cop who was nearly beaten to death in Queens while off duty in an incident that was filmed on video has been released from hospital care.Sgt. Mohammed Deen, who was in a medically induced coma following the beatdown on Nov. 17, was discharged from Mount Sinai Medical Center. “He received surgery for his facial fractures, and he’s been released,” NYPD Commissioner Raymond Kelly said Monday.

A cellphone video appeared to show Deen, 40, taking a beating outside St. John’s Express restaurant on Liberty Ave. in Ozone Park. Deen’s wife was present at the time. Hayden Holder, 29, was charged with attempted murder and felony assault.
